Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz. white rum
  • 0.83 oz. Cointreau liqueur
  • 0.83 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.50 oz. almond syrup
  • 2 oz. fresh pineapple or orange juice
  • 0.50 oz. dark rum
  • Ice
  • Maraschino cherries, lime, or mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add the white rum, Cointreau, lime juice, almond syrup, and fresh juice to the shaker.
  3. Shake for approximately 20-30 seconds until the liquid is well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with cubed or crushed ice.
  5. Carefully pour the dark rum over the top of the drink.
  6. Garnish with maraschino cherries, pineapple slice, or lime.
