Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons butterfly pea flowers
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon matcha
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Ice
Instructions
- Create simple syrup by boiling sugar and water in a saucepan, then simmer until sugar dissolves. Let it cool and stir in lemon juice.
- Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 3-5 minutes, then discard flowers and let the tea cool.
- In a wide-mouth water bottle, shake cold water and matcha for 10 seconds to make the matcha.
- In a glass filled with ice, pour in the butterfly pea flower tea about a third of the way.
- Add the lemonade until it reaches 2/3 of the glass, then top it with the matcha.
- Stir before enjoying.
