  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup vodka
  • Ice
  • Lemon wheel, for garnish
  • Mint sprig, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and mint leaves.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the simple syrup to cool before straining it through a strainer to remove the mint.
