Ingredients

  • 1/8 medium honeydew melon (approximately 1 cup chopped)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice (approximately 1 lime)
  • 1 1/8 oz tequila
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 large fresh basil leaves
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Tajin Classico for rimming
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Remove seeds and peel, then cut the honeydew into one-inch cubes, yielding approximately 1 cup of honeydew pieces.
  2. Blend the honeydew pieces in a blender on high until liquefied. Strain if necessary to remove larger chunks, resulting in approximately 1/2 cup of honeydew puree.
  3. Add tequila, lime juice, basil leaves, and cayenne to the blender. Blend until the basil leaves are pureed and everything is well combined. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
  4. Rim the glass with Tajin Classico seasoning by wetting the edge with a lime wedge and then dipping it in the seasoning.
  5. Fill the prepared glass with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
