Ingredients
- 5 oz Rosé Wine
- 1 cup Watermelon Cubes, seedless
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Water
Instructions
- Pour the rosé wine into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid, for at least 6 hours (it should be slightly icy and slushy).
- Cut the watermelon into cubes and freeze them on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan until firm, for at least 4 hours.
- Once the wine and watermelon cubes are frozen, transfer them to a plastic bag and freeze for up to a month.
- Create simple syrup by combining sugar and water. Heat them on the stovetop or in the microwave until the sugar dissolves.
- When ready to serve, transfer the frozen wine and watermelon to a blender and blend until smooth. If necessary, let them defrost at room temperature for a few minutes before blending.
- Gradually add the simple syrup, tasting as you go. Depending on the natural sweetness of the wine and fruit, you may need only a little or none at all.
