Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • Additional cold water, to taste
  • Cold milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a frappé shaker, combine instant coffee, sugar, and 1/4 cup cold water.
  2. Seal the shaker and vigorously shake to create a thick froth.
  3. Pour the froth over ice in a glass.
  4. Fill the shaker with more cold water, swish it to collect any remaining froth, and pour into the glass.
  5. Add additional cold water to your preference, leaving room for milk if desired.
