Frosty Wine Berry Bliss
Frosty Wine Berry Bliss is a delightful and refreshing sorbet wine slushie with the bright flavors of peaches, mixed berries, and a dry white wine, creating a luscious and frosty treat perfect for cooling off on a hot day.
Ingredients
- 1 (750 ml) bottle Sauvignon Blanc (or other dry white wine)
- 2 cups peeled and sliced peaches or nectarines
- 2 cups mixed berries (any variety or mix of varieties)
- 2 pints fruit sorbet
Instructions
- In a blender, combine half of the wine and the peaches or nectarines and puree until smooth. Pour the mixture into a container with a lid.
- In the same blender, puree the remaining wine with the mixed berries. Pour the mixture into a separate container with a lid.
- Place both containers in the freezer and freeze for at least 12 hours.
- Remove the frozen contents from the containers and break them up with a knife. Then, pour the contents of one container into the blender and add 1 cup of fruit sorbet. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the blended mixture into glasses, filling them halfway. Repeat the blending process with the other container of frozen wine and fruit, and pour it into the glasses to fill.
- Top each glass with a scoop of sorbet and serve.
