Ingredients

  • 1 (750 ml) bottle Sauvignon Blanc (or other dry white wine)
  • 2 cups peeled and sliced peaches or nectarines
  • 2 cups mixed berries (any variety or mix of varieties)
  • 2 pints fruit sorbet

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine half of the wine and the peaches or nectarines and puree until smooth. Pour the mixture into a container with a lid.
  2. In the same blender, puree the remaining wine with the mixed berries. Pour the mixture into a separate container with a lid.
  3. Place both containers in the freezer and freeze for at least 12 hours.
  4. Remove the frozen contents from the containers and break them up with a knife. Then, pour the contents of one container into the blender and add 1 cup of fruit sorbet. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into glasses, filling them halfway. Repeat the blending process with the other container of frozen wine and fruit, and pour it into the glasses to fill.
  6. Top each glass with a scoop of sorbet and serve.
