Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 4 fl oz milk
- 1.50 fl oz Baileys
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Pour a small amount of brown sugar onto a plate. In a separate bowl, pour some milk. Dip the rim of the glass in the milk, then press it into the brown sugar to create a sugared rim.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg yolk and white sugar until fluffy and the sugar has fully dissolved in the yolk.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the yolk and sugar mixture, milk, Baileys, and vanilla paste. Add a pinch of ground nutmeg and ground cinnamon to the mixture.
- Fill the shaker or glass with ice, then cover the shaker or stir the mixture until well combined and chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, grate fresh nutmeg on top, and add a dusting of cinnamon.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick, and the Baileys Eggnog is ready to serve.
