Ingredients
- 1.50 oz pear nectar
- 1 oz apple cider
- 0.50 oz cinnamon simple syrup
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1.50 oz Grey Goose pear vodka
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Thinly sliced apple or pear for garnish
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- To make the Cinnamon Simple Syrup, combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the cinnamon stick and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Cover the saucepan, remove it from the heat, and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes to an hour to allow the cinnamon to infuse.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and store the syrup in a container in the refrigerator for up to 1-1/2 weeks.
- For the drink, mix sugar and cinnamon for the rim. Dip the rim of the glass in a bit of simple syrup, then in the sugar-cinnamon mix.
- In a martini shaker, combine the pear nectar, apple cider, cinnamon simple syrup, lemon juice, and pear vodka with ice. Shake for 30 seconds.
- Pour the mixture into a martini or rock glass and garnish with a slice of apple or pear.
