Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz pear nectar
  • 1 oz apple cider
  • 0.50 oz cinnamon simple syrup
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1.50 oz Grey Goose pear vodka
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Thinly sliced apple or pear for garnish
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. To make the Cinnamon Simple Syrup, combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the cinnamon stick and bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Cover the saucepan, remove it from the heat, and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes to an hour to allow the cinnamon to infuse.
  3. Remove the cinnamon stick and store the syrup in a container in the refrigerator for up to 1-1/2 weeks.
  4. For the drink, mix sugar and cinnamon for the rim. Dip the rim of the glass in a bit of simple syrup, then in the sugar-cinnamon mix.
  5. In a martini shaker, combine the pear nectar, apple cider, cinnamon simple syrup, lemon juice, and pear vodka with ice. Shake for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour the mixture into a martini or rock glass and garnish with a slice of apple or pear.
