Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. brown butter fat-washed Japanese whisky
  • 1/2 oz. Cognac
  • 1/4 oz. maple syrup
  • 1 dash Peychaud's bitters
  • 2 dashes toasted caraway absinthe
  • Ice
  • Old Fashioned glass

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Old Fashioned glass with toasted caraway absinthe and set aside.
  2. In a mixing glass, combine the brown butter fat-washed Japanese whisky, Cognac, maple syrup, and Peychaud's bitters with ice.
  3. Stir the mixture to chill.
