Instructions
- Combine the blackberries, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt in a nonmetal bowl or pitcher; refrigerate for 1 to 2 days.
- Transfer the berry mixture into a saucepan and simmer for about 10 minutes. Strain the mixture into a fine-mesh sieve over a storage container, pressing the blackberries to extract all liquid.
- Store the blackberry shrub in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
