Berry Bliss Ice Tea
Berry Bliss Ice Tea is a refreshing and healthy drink made with a mix of berries, ginger, and rooibos tea, perfect for a summer day.
Ingredients
- 3.20 oz mixed berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, red currants, blackberries)
- 1 oz ginger
- 1.30 cups brown sugar
- 6.80 fl oz pomegranate juice (unsweetened)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 4 tsp rooibos tea
- 2.10 cups water
- Some peppermint leaves
Instructions
- Rinse the berries and place them in a large pot.
- Grate the ginger, and add lemon juice, sugar, and pomegranate juice.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer for 10 minutes without a cover.
- Allow the syrup to cool down, then filter it and pour it into a bottle to refrigerate.
- Prepare the tea by boiling 2.1 cups of water, removing it from heat, and adding the rooibos tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes, then filter and cool.
- Add the desired amount of berry syrup to a glass of tea, stir, and refrigerate.
- Serve with ice cubes and garnish with pieces of strawberries, red currants, and mint leaves.
