Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a coupe glass with ice to chill.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the simple syrup and lime juice with the basil leaves.
  3. Gently muddle the basil leaves about 4-5 times.
  4. Add the gin and fill the shaker 3/4 full with ice.
  5. Secure the lid and shake for 10-15 seconds to dilute and chill the mixture.
  6. Discard the ice from the coupe glass and strain the cocktail into the glass.
